Question

How much of the revised dusty-star reference population is reachable and flagged by the frozen screen?

Hypothesis

Acquire both full Orion tables without score/class filtering, independently review every literal value and all static admission decisions, then retain the complete in-patch reference denominator.

Test

Four bounded GETs; literal fixed-byte/Decimal review versus typed Astropy values and masks; independent Cartesian geometry for3852064 pair admissions and124 alternatives. Separate scalar audit reconstructs98 references,57232 pairs and1470 count fields. Preserve default-reader, canonical-schema and opaque-token failures/amendments.

Finding

399399 values/null states reviewed,105489 missing cells. Revised3117 entries include2980 candidate/96 rejected/41 uncertain records; five cont subtypes remain unknown. Orion C has98 candidate references: at1arcsec25 have WISE alternatives,6 flagged and1 core unknown;73 lack alternatives. At3arcsec45 have alternatives,13 flagged. Max geometry discrepancy1.1642e-10arcsec.44 bindings,7.04MiB stage,2.44MiB downloads.

Next: Develop and freeze a compatible unsupervised dusty-star/missing-view representation with raw/brightness comparators and calibration-only choices. Evaluate independent embedded protostars and contaminants, then fresh held-out survey regions; preserve the photospheric baseline and all missing cases.

Caveat · open

Consumed development field; static associations and catalogue references do not establish physical ownership, membership, class truth or observed birth. No precision denominator; absent references remain unlabelled. In-patch sample has66 disks/28 anemic disks/4 flats and no Class0/I protostar. Historical/revised totals overlap. Missing WISE input and scoring are distinct recovery limits; fresh precision/recall and embedded/temporal validation remain incomplete.
